Building Resilient & Responsive Health Systems (BREHS)

The objective of the BREHS Project is to improve utilization and quality of primary healthcare services and strengthen institutional capacity for service delivery. There are three components to the project, the first component being strengthening institutional capacity for health service delivery towards achieving UHC. The second component is the improving utilization of quality health services at primary care level. Finally, the third component is the project management and evaluation.


Kenya Health Emergencies Preparedness, Response & Resilience (KE_HEPRR)

KE_HEPRR Project aims to strengthen national systems for public health emergency preparedness through strengthening capacity for local manufacturing and public health institutional arrangements.


Accelerating Sustainable and Clean Energy Access Transformation (ASCENT) – Somalia

The ASCENT project seeks to increase access to renewable energy through private sector participation in Somalia, which aligns with the ASCENT Multi-Programmatic Approach (MPA) Program Development Objective (PrDO) of accelerating access to sustainable, reliable and clean energy in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Energy Access Relief Fund (EARF)
Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) Helpdesk Implementation

The EARF is a pioneering initiative that offers subordinated, unsecured, and low-cost subsidized loans to energy access companies facing liquidity challenges due to the impact of COVID-19. With a focus on smaller to mid-sized companies serving bottom-of-the-pyramid consumers, the EARF provides crucial financial support during these challenging times.



Eastern Africa Regional Transport, Trade and Development Facilitation Programme (EARTTDFP)

The EARTTDFP Fiber Optic Network (FON) Project traverses four (4) counties, spanning over 615 km: from Eldoret Telkom Kenya Limited (TKL) Telephone House and ending up at Nadapal border post where a new core site was constructed for interconnection between the Kenyan side of the network and the South Sudanese side of the network.

The Proposed Rehabilitation, Renovation and Retrofitting of an Existing Building for A Tele-Counselling and Telepsychiatry Call Centre At Mathari National Teaching & Referral Hospital, Mathare Sub-County, Nairobi City County


Component 2 of COVID-19 Health Emergency Response Project (C- HERP) is the rehabilitation and renovation of one building at Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital (MNTRH) to serve as a telepsychiatry call Centre. This is in line with the component’s objective of strengthening response and building capacity of key stakeholders including health workers and communities.
